Point Park University is excited to be pursuing athletics in NCAA Division II with a recent invitation from the Mountain East Conference! NCAA Division II membership will elevate our athletics program and our entire university. Your support at this time will partner with us to usher in the next phase of Pioneers athletics!
Your contribution also enhances the Point Park University student-athlete experience for our over 400-plus student-athletes – also known as our ONE BIG TEAM -- who participate in 18 varsity sports. Our athletic department motto, “Win, Grow, Graduate,” is continually pursued in every aspect of the student-athlete experience.
The Point Park athletic department has been recognized as the best overall athletic department in the River States Conference the past three years by winning three consecutive RSC Commissioner's All-Sports Cups from 2020-23. Since 2009, the Pioneers have sent over 20 different sports teams to NAIA National Championship events and has won over 30 conference championships.
Our student-athletes also excel off the competition field. The athletic department grade-point average for the 2022-23 school year was 3.27. There were 15 of the 18 varsity teams with a team GPA above 3.00. The Pioneers also take pride in community engagement as they participate in numerous community service projects every year.
