Basic Student Needs
Support Basic Student Needs Today!

The Department of Community Engagement is committed to helping serve student basic needs on campus. Access to basic needs services is crucial for student success. It guarantees that students have the necessary resources, including food, housing, health care and mental health support.

The Department oversees and supports the Pioneer Pantry food pantry and Pioneer Community Garden along with other basic need supports of our student population.

Research shows that between 30-40% of college students live with food insecurity, and we know that students can’t learn properly if their brains aren’t fed. We believe that educating the whole student is important to our mission. Your donations will go directly to help supply food, clothing, school supplies and other basic necessities for our students to thrive.
